The superyachts returned to Monaco for Grand Prix weekend of the 24th – 25th May, the big event to signal the start of the Mediterranean yachting season.
Yacht owners and their guests were treated to a thrilling race, following Saturday’s controversial final qualifying session, played out against the spectacular world famous Monaco street circuit. In an action packed race Mercedes Benz recorded another double with their drivers Lewis Hamilton following home the race winner Nico Rosberg, a Monaco resident.
The crystal clear blue skies enjoyed over the course of the weekend’s racing, possibly heralds the start of summer and the start of yacht charter activity over the forthcoming months.
